Alleged electoral corruption committed in the context of the presidential elections and constitutional referendum of 2024 by Lungu Ion in the interest of the "Victory" bloc.

In the period from June to September 2024, Lungu Ion, presented as a responsible person/supporter for the Anenii Noi district, allegedly recruited supporters and activists in the village of Mereni, promising or offering them money for supporting a certain candidate in the presidential elections and the option “NO” in the referendum. The court noted episodes regarding the promise of 1,000 lei/month to Bratanenco Anatolie, the installation/explanation of the PSB application for Guleac Svetlana and Toma Pavel, the promise of 200 lei to Sandu Sergiu, and the giving of the amount of 2,000 lei to Toma Pavel.
