The complicity in preparing electoral corruption in Soroca cost her 40,000 lei.

During the electoral period of September–October 2024, Boțoroga Nina, acting as an accomplice, identified voters, collected their data, and installed the PSB application, convincing them to vote according to the instructions promoted by the Bloc “VICTORIE – ПОБЕДА” in exchange for monetary rewards (≈2000 lei/person).

Although the amounts were transferred to accounts, they were not withdrawn by the recipients. The actions were classified as preparation for bribing voters (art. 42 para. (5), art. 26, art. 181¹ para. (1) Criminal Code).

Appeal: Appeal dismissed as unfounded; the first instance sentence upheld without changes.

The Soroca Court qualified the actions of the accused as complicity in the preparation of voter bribery, noting that a mere promise or facilitation of material benefits in an electoral context can constitute preparation for a crime even if the voters did not actually receive the money.

The court rejected the defense's arguments regarding the exclusive nature of “electoral agitation” and the inadmissibility of certain evidence, considering that the body of evidence demonstrates the involvement of the accused in the mechanism of recruiting and influencing voters. The appellate court confirmed these findings, dismissing the appeal as unfounded and maintaining the sentence without changes.
