Deputy Alexandr Nesterovschi allegedly acted in the interest of the organized criminal group led by Ilan Șor, accepting services, advantages, and monetary means to leave the BCS faction, contribute to the creation of a new parliamentary faction, and promote the group's interests on the political arena. He allegedly benefited from 10 flights to/from Israel, approximately 35,000 USD, and political advantages related to the leadership of the "RENAȘTERE" Party.
At the same time, the court found that the defendant prepared the illegal financing of a political party affiliated with the Șor group by identifying and supporting Arina Spătaru for taking over and leading a pro-European oriented party (later ALDE), including by transferring sums of money and facilitating direct contact with Ilan Șor.
